How can Therapy help me?

There are so many reasons why you should participate in therapy!  I will list a few benefits!  Therapy will help provide support. help you develop problem-solving skills. Boost your self-esteem, self-confidence and improve communication skills. You will obtain a better understanding of YOURSELF! By changing old patterns and developing new ones, you can help manage your emotions. 
But the Benefits depend on your commitment and level of readiness!

How long are counseling sessions?

You can expect all sessions to range from 53-60 minutes. 

How far in advance am I required to cancel a session?

I request that if any appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled, notify me 24-48 hours in advance.  

What does the first session look like?

In the initial session, we will complete an initial assessment to discuss your history and need for treatment.  During this first session, you will have the opportunity to see how therapy works, review policies, privacy, and confidentiality, as well as begin the journey toward healing with the therapist.
